This book was okay. I'd heard such great reviews for it, but it was fairly disappointing. Perhaps I approached this book with expectations that were much too high. The novel was an easy quick read, but I spent most of the book waiting for substance. I really wanted to like this book. There were aspects of it that were interesting, but I think this novel would have worked much better as a short story. The ending was somewhat enticing, but I don't know if it was enough to warrant reading the next book in the series.I dislike giving "negative" reviews, especially for books that several people I follow enjoyed, but when it comes to book review honesty is more important than kindness.
